Frame rubbing. Very old reline. Surface dirt, needs a light clean. Roughly a 20'' vertical tear along the right center edge, with some horizontal tears extending from it. Another 3-4 inch tear in the landscape background where the woman is pointing. Older areas of inpainting visible above the woman's hand and on her shoulder. Old varnish layer, very dense and difficult to read. Overall fair condition; commensurate with age.
