The Verifax images are mounted to a wooden support. The support extends approximately 1/8 inch beyond the images and is painted black. Black pigment is also in the following areas of the image, all roughly 1/4 inch in diameter: two at center left, one at lower left, two at the inside corners of the far right images in the center rows, three at the center right. The second image from the left on the bottom row has scratches, top to bottom and across the right third of the image. These scratches appear to be in-painted with black pigment.
There are areas of losses as follows: Two 1/8 inch at upper left edge, one 1/8 inch at upper edge left of center, one 1 inch by 1/8 inch at lower right corner, and 1/2 inch by 1/16 inch at lower left edge. The artwork is framed with a wooden strip frame.
The artwork is faced with a sheet of plexiglass, mounted to the surface by one screw at each corner. The screws go directly through the plexiglass and into the image.
