Centering one cushion-shaped sapphire approximately 2.80 cts., and one cushion-cut diamond approximately 1.50 cts., circa 1900, approximately 3.4 dwt. Size 6 1/4.

With AGL report no. CS 47284 stating that the sapphire is 'Classic' Kashmir, no indication of heat or clarity enhancement.

Sapphire: deep rich dense velvety blue, very good color concentration, slightly brighter blue than photo in catalogue, culet is slightly abraded, several minor nicks on table edge, one minor nick just inside table near edge.

Diamond: J-K-VS2-SI1, one small black pique reflecting, large open culet, medium chip at one corner on crown facet, one corner of gold has a cut-out u shape.
