Lot 21Chinese Inlaid Bronze Belt Hook
Late Eastern Zhou/ Early Western Han Dynasty, circa 3rd century B.C.
The 'S' curved body terminating in a small dragon-form head with a long slender neck curving to a widening body, the faceted top inlaid in gold sheet, turquoise and silver wire with geometric scroll patterns and designs, each side with silver wire scroll work, the underside set with a circular knop, inlaid with further gold sheet and silver wire. Length 4 5/8 inches.
