18 kt., composed of five slightly curved rectangular panels joined by engraved oval bar links, the panels depicting a horse amidst evergreens, two birds perched on branches, a dog and a cat, all within a mottled brown background, accented by a red enamel ribbon with a gold Latin inscription by Horace, 'Ill Terrarum mihi praeter omnes angulus ridet' translating to 'This corner of the Earth smiled for me more than any other', the reverse applied with green and greenish-blue enamel, signed K. RU., approximately 42 dwts. Length 6 7/8 inches.
