The tapered sides rising to a broad shoulder surmounted by a short neck with lipped rim, decorated to the exterior with a pheasant standing on pierced rockwork among peony and chrysanthemum, with further small birds and insects, below a band of cracked-ice pattern and scrolling foliage and rockwork on the neck, carved wood cover. Height of porcelain 11 1/8 inches.
