Includes an autograph letter signed "Jackie" on one sheet of Doubleday stationery, dated 1980, complimenting Mehle's article on "Diana's book" (this being Diana Vreeland's Allure, released in 1980), and sending a book to be read "in your delicious bed"; a typed letter signed a few weeks earlier regarding the books mentioned above; a typed note signed from 1978 suggesting Mehle write a novel; an autograph note signed requesting samples of old columns for that potential book; a signed card of appreciation upon the death of Aristotle Onassis with the manuscript addition "Dear Aileen-I know how much you loved Ari-Thank you-Jackie"; an inscription on Jaqueline Kennedy Onassis' Doubleday business card affixed to the endpaper of Miriam Rothschild's Butterfly Cooing Like a Dove (first edition, 1991); and an autograph note regarding corrections to a text; a few retaining original envelopes. Usual folds, the condolence card toned; Together with three typed letters signed from Rose Kennedy dated 1971, 1972, and 1978, on various stationery, mostly regarding social matters and with the following sentiment: "I am sure you enjoyed London tremendously, dear Suzy - we were all so happy there before the war"; And a group of books relating to the Kennedys, and few photographs of Mrs. Kennedy Onassis laid-in.
