Of stylized heart-shaped motif, centering one emerald-cut emerald approximately 14.75 cts., surrounded by 12 square-cut diamonds, flanked by pairs of scrolled bombé ribbons of 150 round and 48 single-cut diamonds, altogether approximately 20.75 cts., signed Cartier, Paris, no. 010323, with maker's mark and French assay marks, circa 1935, approximately 27.2 dwts. With signed box.

With AGL report no. 1084848 stating that the emerald is of Colombian origin, with insignificant to minor traditional clarity enhancement.

Emerald: vivid medium deep green to slightly bluish green, good color concentration, scattered inclusions throughout, very included in lower left and upper right corners, several inclusions slightly visible to eye, nice shape and cut, lively.

Diamonds: G-H-I-mostly VS, 2 square-cuts are SI.

Good condition. Normal wear. Well-made. 2 x 1 3/4 inches.
