Wax relined. Some areas of frame abrasion around the edges, with touches of restoration. Several repaired tears: a long one in the background running diagonally across the span of the upper right corner; another 2-inch-long repair on the dog's left shoulder; a third, about 9 inches long, running diagonally in the background above the signature and crossing the word "fecit." Some restoraton to the area above the boy's left shoulder; and in the gap between his torso and his left arm. Inpainted cracks on the face. A few touches elsewhere.
