Wharton Esherick (1887-1970) was one generation ahead of George
Generally good condition overall; some unevenness to patina consistent with age and normal use and handling; undersides clearly marked; one seat with 2 small spots of white paint and with trace of paper label to underside; joints appear to have been loose and tightened at one point; no apparent breaks or cracks to legs or stretchers.
