The mother-of-pearl applied dished circular top decorated with gold and red Chinese scenes on black ground, raised on a reeded columnar support continuing to a tripartite dished plinth and ending in lion's paw feet and casters. Height 28 inches (71.1 cm), diameter 40 inches (1.01 m).

Very good restored condition, painted decoration and gilding refreshed and some parts now with varnish, craquelure to painted and gilt decoration throughout, minor replacements to applied mother-of-pearl decoration, chips to painted decoration, rubbing to painted edges, especially of top, plinth and feet.
