The larger of four sections, worked entirely with gold blossoming prunus on a gold ground; the smaller of five section, with gold butterflies flying amid blossoming peony on a gold ground. Height of taller 3 3/4 inches.

Smaller one- rubbing to gold on edges, a few very small nicks to edges where sections meet, small chip to lacquer on top surface, wear to gold where silk cords enter
larger one-surface scratches to top and base, small chips to rims on interior, small losses to lacquer where silk cords enter
Both silk cords deteriorated
