18 kt., manual wind, centering a silver-tone circular dial with applied gold baton indexes, baton hands, blued steel chronograph hand, subsidiary dials for constant seconds and 30-minute register, outer minute and tachometer scale, within a bright polished case with two round chronograph pushers and screw-down case back, diameter approximately 35 mm., completed by an aftermarket gold mesh bracelet with personal monogrammed clasp, dial, movement and case signed Patek Philippe & Co., Geneve, movement with Geneva seal and frosted metal dust cover, no. 869014, 23 jewels, 8 adjustments, cal. 13-130, case no. 2615198, circa 1950/55. With Patek Philippe service box.

Examples of Reference 1463 were limited to a production run of 750 pieces.

This model was the first chronograph wristwatch Patek Philippe manufactured that was waterproof with its screw-down back case and gasket.

This model had a manufacturing run from 1940 until sometime in 1969. It was the last chronograph wristwatch Patek Philippe made until the emergence of Reference 5070 in 1998.

Case diameter 1 3/8 inches.

Afermarket bracelet with deployant clasp: width 5/8 inch.
