New York: 15 September [1975, year from postmark]. One page typed letter on one sheet of "1040 Fifth Avenue" stationery, signed "Jackie", accompanied by the original mailing envelope. 7 1/2 x 5 inches. Usual fold, one faint handling crease.
In this note with a bold signature written just months following the death of Aristotle Onassis, Mrs. Kennedy Onassis thanks Cassini for sending a red outfit and reports that "I will wear it when I run around the reservoir." The Central Park Reservoir was named in honor of Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis in 1994.
