Circa 1725
The swan's neck pediment carved with eagles' heads and centered by a cartouche above a frieze with a winged putto head flanked by foliage, the frame with bead-and-reel slip and scrolling foliage on a punched ground, the sides with pendant acorns and leaves, with outset square corners and foliate-carved shaped apron. Height 47 inches, width 27 inches.

Very good restored condition, with later gilding but some original surfaces, mirror plate replaced, losses to gilding of birds' heads, especially right head, age cracks to frieze below egg-and-dart molding, losses to gilding of right side and bottom of outset square corner, lozenge-carved side panels surrounding mirror plate between punched ground panels probably later gessoed and gilded, minor losses to carved pendent side oak leaves and acorns, much of the punched ground and gilding to bottom of frame and apron later, apron possibly once fitted with candle arms, cartouche possibly later
