Spine chipped and defective; A second copy, uninscribed, the spine defective, newspaper clippings tipped in pertaining to Kilmer's death in action; Main Street and Other Poems. New York: George H. Doran, (1917). First edition, with a letter from George H. Doran to the poet's mother, dated October 5, 1917, forwarding a copy of the book (Joyce Kilmer was at this point in France on service, where he would die the following year). Publisher's boards. Light wear, front joint just starting.
