Boston & Washington: Laban Heath, [1866 date on copyright]. Stated second edition. Original gilt lettered cloth. 6 1/2 x 4 inches (16.5 x 10 cm); with 16 plates, one printed in green, two being folding examples of counterfeit bills. An old dampstain affects the lower corner of text and tissue guards but not the plates, other spotting, the binding fine and bright.
