Early polished gilt ruled calf, rebacked to style with a red lettering label, endpapers and blanks renewed. 6 1/2 x 4 inches (17 x 10 cm); xii,[4],143,[1]pp. A very clean copy internally, a short closed tear on the title has been repaired as have the lower corners of a few text leaves, a small wormhole affects to the lower corner affects most pages, some chipping to the older portions of binding and a short tear into the modern endpaper, bookplate of Amasa Stone Mather.
