Map toned, some spotting, a good copy; Phelps' Strangers and Citizens' Guide to New York City. With Maps and Engravings. New York: Phelps & Watson, [1857]. Original gilt stamped cloth. Woodcut frontispiece and plates and with a large folding colored lithographed map of Manhattan opening to 16 x 28 inches. The map with punctures at fold points but fine overall; Colton's Map of the Country Thirty Three Miles Around the City of New York. New York: J. H. Colton, 1863. Original gilt lettered cloth with large colored lithographed folding map opening to 24 x 24 inches. Splits along folds and punctures to fold points, ink stain at head, a serviceable example of a desirable map; Guide to New York: It's Public Buildings, Places of Amusement, Churches, Hotels, &c. New York: Zell, 1868. Original cloth, inserted plates and with a double-sided map of Manhattan and the Erie Railroad lines opening to 10 x 19 inches. Map misfolded but fine, later paper spine label; Colton's New York ... 1874 Original gilt lettered cloth with folding lithographed map of New York state. The map 14 x 16 inches. Stamp to inside cover, small losses to binding, the map fine. The lot five small volumes.
