Lot 106[ILLUMINATED MANUSCRIPTS]
Group of five framed cut initials and leaves from fifteenth century manuscripts. French, 1475-1500; together with two calendar leaves from Books of Hours. Likely France 1450-1500; three leaves, two from Books of Hours and one from a work on Canon Law, 1400-1500; and two cut initials from a later antiphonal. Probably Italian circa 1600. All elegantly framed.
All of the above (except the legal manuscript) are on vellum, with illuminations in gold and colors (excepting the last two, which are color only). Most are framed to approximately 12 x 10 inches. Most with the labels of Les Enluminures.
