Each à chassis-upholstered cartouche-shaped back within a scroll- and foliate-carved frame, the serpentine drop-in seat flanked by shaped arms with shell-carved junctures and ending in scrolled handholds, the serpentine scroll- and foliate-carved apron raised on lappet-carved cabriole legs. Height 45 1/2 inches (115.6 cm), width 28 inches (71.1 cm), depth 21 inches (53.4 cm).

Large proportions, condition commensurate with age and use, later painted and gilt decoration, age cracks to frames, two with repaired breaks to right front legs, three with repaired breaks to left front legs, later corner blocks, chips to pierced crestings of top rail, one recent loss (now lacking) to pierced cresting of one toprail.
