Tapering cylindrical form with a flourish of foliate scrolls centering a blank cartouche and a horse's bust in high relief, raised on three ball feet clad with leaves and berries, the cover with band of laurel and a figure of a jockey. Height 19 3/4 inches (50.3 cm), approximately 53 ounces.

Good condition overall; the cartouche blank, but nor soft from erasure; good detail to decoration; interior gilt; the jockey's whip slighly bentheavy scratches underside where hallmarked
