Original green printed wrappers, in original decorated dust jacket. 7 x 4 1/2 inches; [226] [1] pp. Small losses to jacket tips and a few chips and rubbed areas, very short splits to text joints, small bookseller stamp to front blank, a sound copy.

Only 5,000 copies of the first issue of The Naked Lunch were printed in Paris; due to obscenity the book was banned in the United States and was not printed here until 1962. Maynard & Miles A2a.
