The rectangular silver frame edged by small balls, centering an openwork floral motif of polished gold leaves and silver stems, highlighted by one oval malachite ap. 20.6 x 11.6 mm., flanked by four half-moon shaped gold flowers atop slender silver stems and 2 square lapis ap. 11.5 x 11.1 mm., with maker's marks for the Wiener Werkstätte (Vienna Workshop), Josef Hoffman and Karl Ponocny, circa 1907.

Malachite: banded green, nice oval pattern, good luster.
Lapis: dark blue, moderate amount of gold speckling, several minor hairline cracks in both, medium luster.
Normal wear to metal for age. Minor discoloration or surface wear to metal.
