18 kt., mechanical, centering a circular yellow and black enamel numberless dial of overlapping circle and square motif with platinum and rose-cut diamond stylized hands, within a mother-of-pearl chapter ring applied with raised red enamel Roman numerals, flanked by carved light green jade dragons continuing to bulbous sections applied with three geometric platinum and rose-cut diamond plaques centering 3 round cabochon emeralds, accented by 9 round cabochon sapphires, further surmounted by curved black enamel bands and carved coral dragons, atop a stepped black onyx platform spaced by carved coral, the base surmounted by 2 rectangular pierced carved jade, platinum and rose-cut diamond-set plaques, movement signed E.W.C Co., no. 0747, with French assay marks, inner silver case nos. 3972 and 2301, circa 1925, two eyes and eyebrows missing. 4 3/4 x 4 1/16 x 2 1/8 inches. With fitted box signed Cartier.

The movement is currently running, but not guaranteed to be in working order.

Jade dragons: translucent light milky green, bottom carved spheres with patchy whitish mottling, small surface-reaching inclusion near one cheek, good luster.

Coral: medium to deep pinkish orange, one top fin with some whitish mottling visible on front, bottom coral with streaks of white, medium to good luster.

Green jade: deep green, minor whitish and darker green mottling, one with surface-reaching inclusions, not visible to eye, nice floral carvings, medium luster.

Sapphires: medium deep violetish blue, slightly to moderately included, translucent, good polish.

Emeralds: light mint green, slightly included, two eyes and eyebrows from one dragon are missing.

Black enamel and gold eyebrows and cabochon emerald eyes missing from one dragon. Some tarnishing and discoloration to gold.

Dial diameter 2 inches. Clock diameter 3 inches.
