Mechanical, rectangular tortoise shell case topped by a rectangular abalone pearl, rectangular numberless mother-of-pearl dial, gold-tone hands, gold, brown jasper and mother-of-pearl parrot perched on a jasper branch with abalone pearl leaves, mother-of-pearl and abalone pearl ground amidst mother-of-pearl flowers, black enamel border applied with gold Arabic numerals, reverse with hinged door, atop a jade and black onyx stepped platform, dial with maker's mark for Vladimir Makovsky, movement signed Vacheron & Constantin, Genève, Suisse, Astral no. 403608, inner frame of door signed Ostertag, no. 9927, with hallmarks, circa 1925. 3 x 2 1/2 x 1 5/8 inches.
